1. What we collect

• Account details: your WhatsApp mobile number, an optional name, and a 4-digit PIN. PINs are stored in hashed form, not as readable text.
• Recovery details (optional): an email address and a security question and answer, used only to help you reset a forgotten PIN.
• Order details: the items you order, your delivery address or pickup choice, any notes you add, and order time.
• Location: only if you tap "Use my location". Your browser asks permission first, and you can refuse.
• Technical data: basic logs created by our hosting providers (such as IP address and browser type) and data stored in your browser to keep you signed in.

2. Why we use it

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To pass your order to the restaurant you chose.
• To show your order history and points balance.
• To help you recover access to your account.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.

3. Who receives your data

• The restaurant you order from receives your name, phone number, address and order details so they can prepare and deliver it. The restaurant then handles that information under its own responsibility and applicable law.
• Service providers that help us run the platform: our database and backend host (Supabase), our website host (Netlify), and our email sender for PIN-reset emails (EmailJS). Orders are handed to restaurants through WhatsApp (Meta).
• Authorities, if we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account and order data while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see section 6).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including access controls on our database and hashed PINs. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep your PIN private and do not share it.

6. Your rights

In line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop certain uses of it. To make a request, email [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may need to confirm your identity first.

7. Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use it for advertising.

8. Children

EaseOn is not intended for children under 18 to use without a parent or guardian.
